ASKEW, b. ca. 1784 VA and d. in Taylor Co, GA.  A James D. ASKEW heads a houshold in Harris Co, GA, 1830 (see HHC by BARFIELD).  Darlene says he d. 1860's and appears on 1850 and 1860 censuses of Marion Co. Cintha: 1880 census of Chattahoochee Co, GA w/ Calvin BLAND family.   Alternative maiden name GOLSON also given.  Is one a maiden name and the other a previous married name?  Note how young Cintha was as of the date given for her marriage to James.  Source for marriage <dj9158@aol.com> also gives her dates as b. 1805 and d. ca. 1870.  If she is a SIZEMORE, what is her relationship to her son-in-law, Wiley SIZEMORE (b. 1820)?

WORWELL (per IGI).  Is she perhaps a first wife of James, or are these two different James Monroe ASKEWS?  If she is a SIZEMORE, what is her kinship to her son-in-law, Wiley SIZEMORE (b. 1820)? D, 46th Regt, GA Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee, CSA "Chattahoochee Sentinels."  Private, 0 MAY 1862, in Ocmulgee Hospital at Macon, Bibb Co, GA on 16 FEB 1865; returned to duty 29 APR 1865. Charlie AKIN was told by his Grandpa John H. that he was shot in the foot during his tour of duty, which would account for the hospital stay.
