Education Profile

I attended Rapid City Central High School in Rapid City, South Dakota. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1985, academically ranked 15th out of a class of 417 students. I spent a few semesters at Black Hills State University, Spearfish, South Dakota. I also spent a semester at Oglala-Lakota College, Pine Ridge, South Dakota. By this time I had married and started raising a family, so my college studies progressed slowly. In 1989 I enrolled at Chadron State College, Chadron, Nebraska. In 1992, I was initiated into Sigma Delta Nu, an honorary professional Fraternity. I graduated Cum Laude from Chadron State in 1995, with a Bachelor of Science in Education (Art K-12).

Currently I am a substitute teacher. Since art teaching postions are scarce in the area I live in, I am considering giving art lessons after school, in my home. I have considered the possibility of graduate work, but have not taken the GRE yet.
