Morehead Baptists Appreciate the Labors
of Ex-Pastor Buell H. Kazee

MOREHEAD, Ky., Feb. 16. — Following are excerpts from a letter authorized by the Morehead Baptist Church, Morehead, Rowan County, Ky., October 5, 1952, to be sent to Brother Buell H. Kazee, who, after having served the church as pastor for twenty-two years, accepted full-time teaching of the Old Testament, etc., with the Lexington Baptist College and Lexington Baptist Institute at the opening of the fall term, 1952:
"Over the years since you have been with us you have labored hard for the cause of Christ, often under great difficulties. The scope of influence of the Morehead Baptist Church has been greatly extended during the years you have served as pastor of this church. You should feel happy in having had the opportunity to serve in this field. "The Church wishes you to know that your work here is greatly appreciated. You will never know until you stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ just how much good you have done. The effect of your work will continue on down through the years until the end of time. You will have no way of knowing, until the books are opened, how many people have been saved through your preaching, teaching and witnessing, nor how many more will be saved because of the continuation of the work you have begun and carried on.

"May God's richest blessings rest upon you and may His hand guide you in your work, and may He give you many years to carry on and watch the fruition of your labors for Him.

Yours in His service,
C. L. LEACH, Clerk,
Morehead Baptist Church."
By order of the Church, January 14, 1953. — CLYDE H. SMITH, Sunday School Superintendent.
