Margaret (Hix) Sanders

Margaret Hix (Hicks), wife of William W. Sanders was probably born in
Tennessee. Little is known of her except that she died June 9, 1864,
according to the Civil War records of her husband. From the census records,
there is a clue that perhaps she had a brother named Joseph Hix.
William Sanders and Margaret were married in Jackson County, Tennessee by
Lewis Hix, a Justice of the Peace. Possibly, Lewis Hix was also related to her.
Margaret and William Washington Sanders were married April 28, 1861 in
Jackson County, Tennessee. Margaret was the Mother of Joseph Leroy Sanders.
