Elisha & Sarah (Sally) Sanders

Elisha Sanders was born ca 1817, Jackson Co., TN and died 27 Jan 1891 in McLeansboro, Hamilton County, IL.

Sarah Gordon was born ca 1817 in Jackson County, TN. She died about 1880 in Hamilton County, IL. Her date of death is not yet confirmed.

Elisha and Sallie left Jackson County after June 1861 when James Russell Sanders was born, probably in 1862, along with their seven sons and two daughters.

Sarah and Elisha are buried in the north side of the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery, Hamilton Co., IL.
