SPECIAL NOTE--I wish I could make this whole site searchable with it's own little search engine. However, GeoCities, which provides this web space, restricts cgi-bins. So for now this site is not automatically searchable. Nevertheless, I have tried to make it as easy and as organized as I can.
If you are searching for a particular person or name, look in the Birkholz Ancestors and Surnames Index, the Soundex Notes, and the Message Board. If you are a member, also try the IGI Notes. Please note that census takers sometimes misspelled the name "Birkholz". There are also variations of "Birkholz". So if you don't find your ancestor under one spelling, try another spelling.
If you don't find your ancestor on your first visit, come back another time. People periodically send in new names. This brings me to another point...
PLEASE, PLEASE send in information about your Birkholz ancestors. (Variations of Birkholz are also welcome, as you will see while searching this site.) This site grows only when people send in their genealogy. Willingness to share and contribute is what makes this site develop and become a better genealogy tool.
