1. John Shaub was born August 22, 1812 and died April 16, 1886.

John married Elizabeth Bair, daughter of John Bair and Elizabeth Miller. Elizabeth was born 20 Jul 1811 and died March 30, 1876.

They lived in Lancaster County and Lower Chanceford Twp., York County, PA. John and Elizabeth are buried at McKendree Cemetery, York County, PA.

They had the following children:

				Daniel married Elizabeth Gordon on 1862.
	3	F	ii	Elmirah Shaub was born 1838.
				Elmirah married Joseph Morgan on August 20, 1860.
	4	M	iii	David Shaub was born 1840.
				David married Elizabeth Jane Scott (1840 - 1932), daughter of Gavin and Mary Ann (Ferguson) Scott.
+	5	M	iv	John B. Shaub was born 21 Jun 1843 and died 1 Jan 1927.
	6	F	v	Elizabeth Shaub was born September 12, 1845, died 1927.
				Elizabeth married Jun 1867 John M. Cooney, b: 1841 d: 1903, son of Thomas and Catherine Cooney.
	7	F	vi	Katherine Emma Shaub was born abt. 1847.
				She married David Lee Cooney, son of Thomas and Catherine Cooney.
	8	F	vii	Henrietta Shaub was born 1850 and died October 10, 1874. She is buried at McKendree Cemetery.
	9	F	viii	Susan Shaub was born 1854. She died 27 May 1914.
				Susan married Isaac R. McCleary.
	10	F	ix	Mary S. Shaub was born February 25, 1835 and died June 27, 1913.
