MRS. ELMIRA (SHAUB) MORGAN

Mrs. Elmira Morgan, widow of Joseph B. Morgan, died last evening at 7 o'clock at the home of her son-in-law, George C. Keeports, 529 West Frederick street, of pneumonia, after and illness since last Tuesday. She was in the seventy-ninth year and was born April 25, 1839, in Conestoga Centre. She was a daughter of the late John and Eliza (Bair) Shaub, and for a number of years in early life resided in York county and later in Eden, east ot this city. For the past 26 years she had resided in this city. Her husband died in 1894. She was a member of the Lancaster Avenue M. E. church. The following sons and daughters survive: D. William Morgan, John S. Morgan and Mary E., wife of George C. Keeports, all of this city. John B. Shaub of Chester, is a brother and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Cooney, of Rising Sun, Md., and Mrs. Catharine Cooney, of Lancaster, also survive. The funeral will be held from her late home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Woodward Hill cemetery.
