John Sanders
July 13, 1841 to March 08, 1924

John Sanders was born in Jackson County, Tennessee, July 13, 1841.
He was the son of Elisha and Sallie Sanders.
He came to Illinois in an ox wagon.

John served as a Private in Captain D. M. Mauldings
Company "H" of the 6th Illinois Regiment of United States Volunteer Cavalry.
John enlisted October 1861, at McLeansboro, Illinois.

John married Nancy Elizabeth Price (Spry) on February 22, 1871.
John and Nancy had eight children.
John died March 08, 1924, McLeansboro, Hamilton Co., IL.
